Sonia Flanders and Lisa Parinella

I simply wanted to let anyone who reads this know that we are beginning a letter writing campaign ASAP after finding out that apparently Lisa Parinella and Sonia Flanders have been let go as of the end of the semester as they were permanent temporary positions and instead were replaced with full time permanent instructors. Those of us who got the original email about it were heartbroken to say the least. From what we all know so far they were made to interview along with a few others and were overlooked for the positions...We think that this was a grave mistake on the Delta nursing faculty's part and are asking all of those who can help us out to write letters to Mary Neville at mneville@deltacollege.edu in order to voice our opinions on this matter. Those of us who were the first to find out are greatly shocked and dismayed that anyone could possibly think it would be to both current and future nursing student's advantages to let these two wonderful instructors go. Sonia Flanders has been a great student advocate and has been a gigantic help to those who needed some guidance along the way....Not to mention to those Nursing 4 students who needed help after failing the first time and are now receiving B's in the second go around in Nursing 4. Please help us and write an email to Mary Neville (mneville@deltacollege.edu) to get our voices heard!
