This is an electronic and paperless age

This post probably doesn't apply to those of you who are reading this. We need to encourage everyone to read their emails (and Blog) daily. The Health Sciences Dept. is going paperless and we will run out of courtesy calls from them after a time, so don't count on them keeping you informed by snail mail or phone calls ( they have enough to do already). We are at risk of missing department, educational, and clinical deadlines by ignoring our school email. There could even be (heaven forbid), the possibility of being washed out of the program by ignoring deadlines.

NO EXCUSES
If you are computer illiterate, - Learn (It's not hard). Our Grandmas can do email.
If you don't' have a computer - Use any Library's, computer lab's, tutor center's or get a buddy to share theirs or keep you updated. (Careful here, you are putting your fate in someone else's hands.)

CHECKING EMAIL
We could think of it as pain medication- Stay on top of the pain by round the clock dosing
or
Brushing our teeth- Every morning and night
or
Changing diapers - Regularly checking for unexpected deposits
or
You snooze, you lose - Remember the last minute test practice helps?
or
Hire your kids to be your email, blog post reading secretaries.

Make a regular routine of checking that works for you. This is your future, make it easy on yourself.
