In case you are like me and forgot the details...
Ceremony: Atherton Auditorium Thursday, 12-21-06 at 7:00 pm
Plan to be in the green room no later than 6:30 pm
Balloons will not be allowed in the auditorium
Please notify me ASAP if you have family member that will require wheelchair seating
Practice: Thursday, December 21, 2006 from 1pm to 3pm in Atherton Auditorium
Only students and staff will be allowed in the Auditorium during practice. Please do not bring family, friends or children to the practice.
**Practice is mandatory. If you have an overwhelming reason to miss it,
notify Ms. Neville or Ms. Batson as soon as possible.**
Please do not bring food or drink in to the Auditorium.
Caps: Caps must be worn be the female graduates to participate in the ceremony.
Your hair needs to be up or pulled back if it extends beyond the shoulders.
Cost for caps is about $15.00 each, payable in cash to Ms. Neville. Caps should be
available the first week of December - Men do not wear caps
Pins: Please pay for pins at the Bookstore. The cost will be approximately $70.00. I
will notify you when you can go over and pay for your pin. Turn in a copy of your
receipt to the Nursing Office - Students are NOT required to purchase a pin
Dress: White uniforms and white nursing shoes for the ladies. Men may wear white
slacks and a white shirt, jacket or uniform top and black belt, white nursing shoes.
Please remember, bright lights make your white uniforms very transparent, so
wear a slip and light under clothing
Program: You will be responsible to make sure that your name is spelled correctly and
included in the program. I will distribute a copy before the program goes to print.
Invitations: Each student will receive 10 invitations and 10 envelopes at no charge. Invitations
are NOT needed to get into the ceremony; entrance is first come, first served (NO
TICKETS required)
Decorations: Each student should bring a 6 inch pot with poinsettia
Music: Music choices should be submitted to Ms. Neville or Ms. Batson as soon as
possible
Slide show: It is the student’s responsibility to provide the photos and produce the slide
show. Please have the PowerPoint show ready at least one week prior to the
event
Questions: Questions should be directed to Ms. Neville or Ms. Batson to receive accurate
