I notified the Stockton Record, Lodi News Sentinel, and our own Delta College paper, The Impact. It probably is too late of a notice for the city papers, but I walked in the pizza party of the Delta's paper and informed the entire staff. They will have a representative here tonight to get the story.
I also asked them if they are going to cover Thursday's bone marrow and blood drive, and was informed that Friday is their last day and they are scrambling to complete the last edition now. So I take that as a no.
Remember to keep it very positive tonight.

Well, we went, we spoke, I wish we could say that we made a difference; I don't think we did. Our needs as students did not seem to affect the process at all. I felt ignored. The consolation is that we at least tried. I want to thank everyone who showed up.
We gave Richard Meza a standing ovation when he got his award. He is a great clinical facilitator and I am proud to have been one of his students.
Hope to see all of you Wednesday afternoon around 1 p.m. (1300) to help set up the skills labs for the blood drive Thursday. If you can't make it Wednesday do be there Thursday to help or the give or both. It is one more way we can make a difference.
Whether we made a difference or not, at least I can sleep at night because of what we did. At least if I was to ever sleep, that is.
