We didn't get an article, but we did get a picture and a notice of our displeasure at the loss of our 2 wonderful instructors. A picture speaks a thousand words! Have a look. Wednesday, May 18th, page B5, The Record. It's pretty cool that they came out, because they told me that it was too short of notice.
Look in the final edition of the school newspaper, The Impact this Friday, their reporter showed up and interviewed several students, hopefully there will be a write-up about our instructors. They are pretty good sports. I kinda busted in on their pizza party Tues. as they were trying finish up and meet their deadlines of Wed. morning. So kudos to them for coming out to the board of trustees meeting and taking the time to find out what we were all huffed up about!
Congratulations again to Richard Meza for getting an Outstanding, Most Excellent Teacher's Award! I have not had him as an instructor, but have heard only great things about him from everyone who has. Kudos to Shelba for nominating him.
Congrats also to Mary Neville for officially being recognized by the Board as she takes over the directorship of the Nursing dept.

We head line the IMPACT. But they got Bonnie's name wrong.
I told everyone to check the paper and then I left without checking. Now I want to see one. What did they write about Ms. Flanders and Lisa?
